Hair loss has caused a great problem for man kind for
a long time. It concerns mainly men, but not rare in
women's case either. Its most frequent cause is a change
in hormones (androgen baldness), but a permanent
inflammation anywhere in the body (bad tooth,
bile-stone) may have a similar effect as well.
If you are considering a treatment, it is advised to
pinpoint these inflammations first. Many people use
the products for hair loss accessible in the pharmacies,
with more or less results, but the variety of these
products indicates that there is no real cure, no perfect
substance.
However there are 2 products worth mentioning. One of
them is the Finasteride
(Proscar, Propecia) affecting the hormone system, the
other one is the Minoxidil
(Regain) lotion to be used directly on the skin. These
substances slow the hair loss process down, but always
consult a doctor before using them. Anyhow, when the
hair is lost, these methods can do unfortunately nothing
to replace it.
What can be done then?
Several surgical possibilities are available.
In the case of a small bald area hair replacement
can be performed. The hair on the back and on the side
of the head is not sensitive to the hormones, and it
keeps this quality even after the transplantation.
In this case one line of the hairy skin is removed from
the back of the head, and the scar is stitched. The
removed part is converted into micro-grafts (units
containing 1-3 hairs) to be implanted to the problematic
area by using precise techniques.
80-90% of the transplanted hairs will endure permanently.
The result of the surgery is lasting. Depending on the
baldness, 2-3 surgeries might be necessary, moving more
than 800-1000 grafts of hair every time. The operation
is done in local anesthesia, and takes 4-6 hours. The
patient will sometimes feel a little itchiness or nothing
at all.
The stitches from the back of the head are removed
10 days after the procedure. The scar is situated crosswise
on the head, and it is invisible as covered by hair.
There are no stitches on the implanted area.
The result begin to show after 3 months, according
to the natural hair growth rhythm, and within 6 months
hair will cover the area which was bald before.
Using strong, dark hair is the most efficient for the
hair replacement procedure and for a long lasting optical
results.

Within 2 weeks the implanted hair will fall out, and
then re-grow 3 moths after the operation.

the head?
No, the same kind of thickness cannot be reproduced
at first for sure, it can however be improved by a
